Wedding and baptism
Greek catering for weddings and baptisms
A Greek wedding or baptism is celebrated with the whole family, around a table that is full. We cook the feast: the classics of Greek cooking, for your guests in Amsterdam, Amstelveen and nearby. You tell us what belongs to your day, our cooks think along, and our Greek mother looks over every order.
Every family celebrates differently. That is why for a wedding or baptism we always make a tailored proposal: the dishes, the quantities, the delivery time and the price.

What we cook for a Greek wedding or baptism
A feast starts with sharing: salads, dips and savoury pies in the middle of the table, then the hot dishes. Dishes families often choose:
- Starters to share: tzatziki (yoghurt dip), tirokafteri (spicy feta dip), olives, feta and spanakopita (spinach and feta pie)
- Lamb: kleftiko (slow-cooked lamb with garlic and lemon) or oven-roasted lamb with potatoes
- Oven dishes such as pastitsio (baked pasta with minced beef) and moussaka, which work well for a large group
- Stuffed vegetables and briam (oven-roasted vegetables) for guests who do not eat meat
- Something sweet to finish: baklava, galaktoboureko or bougatsa (semolina custard in filo)
Is there a family recipe that cannot be missing? Tell us; we are happy to cook it for your whole group. See also all our dishes.
A fasting menu for the baptism or wedding
Does your celebration fall in a fasting period, for example before Easter or Christmas? Then we make a plant-based fasting menu: no meat, fish, dairy or egg. Think of briam, green beans or okra in tomato, baked giant beans, stuffed vegetables and olives. Vegan guests simply join in.
How it works
- Tell us about your celebration through the form for a custom dinner: the date, the number of guests and your wishes.
- Within 1 working day we get in touch to talk about the menu.
- You receive a proposal with the dishes, the delivery time and the final price.
- On the day we deliver everything to the agreed address, ready to heat, or hot at an agreed time (surcharge).
We deliver without service staff. Your family, the venue or your own team serves; we make sure everything is clearly labelled, with instructions per dish.
Ask in good time
A wedding or baptism is planned well ahead, and we like to work that way too. You can order up to 48 hours ahead, but for a big celebration a few weeks earlier is better: we keep your date free and there is time for your family recipe.
A smaller family dinner, for 8 to 40 people, you can also build yourself as a Greek table: €25 per person for 8 to 10 people and €22 per person from 11 people, VAT included.
Questions about wedding and baptism catering
Can you cook for more than 40 guests?
Ask us. As standard we cook for up to 40 guests per day; for a bigger celebration we look at what is possible together and make a tailored proposal.
Do you deliver to a venue or church outside Amsterdam?
Amsterdam and Amstelveen are our standard area. If your venue is further away, mention it in your request; we will see what is possible and what delivery costs.
Can you make a cake?
Tell us in your request what you have in mind. Our cooks will tell you honestly what they can make.
How much food should I order?
We count one main portion per guest, plus starters and salads to share, as at a Greek table. Your proposal lists the quantities per dish.
Do you speak Greek?
Yes. We can help you in Dutch, English or Greek.
Tell us about your celebration.
The date, the number of guests and what belongs to your day: that is all we need to start.
